Gord Feniak has lived in the rural area north of Fergus since 1990. He is happily married and has five children ranging in age from 15 to 22.

A professional Civil Engineer, Gord graduated from the University of Toronto in 1984. He is currently employed by R. J. Burnside and Associates, a multidisciplined firm with a staff of about 300 people. The firm consults to all levels of Canadian government, land developers, builders, golf course owners, First Nations, and international governments. Gord served on the Board of Directors for several years until becoming a Senior Vice President, responsible for Public Sector Clients.
